Five Guys Opens at Cocoplum Village Shops

SARASOTA, FL May 14, 2013 – Five Guys Burgers and Fries will open its first location between Sarasota and Fort Myers at Cocoplum Village Shops in North Port on May 15. This will be the fourth Five Guys franchise location for John & LaTricia Baylis. “We chose Cocoplum Village Shops because of the central location and impressive array of national tenants,” said Mr. Baylis. “We’re very excited to be surrounded by TJ Maxx, The Sports Authority, Hobby Lobby and many other successful retailers,” Baylis added. To help celebrate with Five Guys coming to North Port, the North Port City Commission will join John, La Tricia, and their crew for a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, May 17th at 11 a.m. at 17819 Tamiami Trail, corner of US 41 and Salford Boulevard. We look forward to being part of this young and growing city," said Baylis Five Guys is a fast casual restaurant chain focused on hamburgers, hot dogs and French fries. The franchise uses only fresh ground beef for their burgers. There are no freezers in Five Guys locations, just coolers. Only Peanut oil is used in all food preparation and the menu is trans-fat free.
